The Nuts and Bolts of MassHealth Nursing Facility Eligibility

This seminar will focus on practical measures to help with the efficient processing of Medicaid applications and Medicaid eligibility determinations. Facility staff responsible for Medicaid eligibility applications should plan to attend this important program. Attendees will have an opportunity to discuss specific issues with the MassHealth program presenters who will share helpful tips.
Objectives:
•Understand the steps involved in the Application Process;
•Identify steps a nursing home can take to improve the Medicaid application process, and,
•Learn the best methods to assist prospective member and/or family in gathering all information to submit application including trusts, annuities and beneficiaries.

Fee:
$50 for Mass Senior Care Members $100 for Non-Members
Lunch will be provided.
Registration Fee must be paid prior to attending the seminar.
Cancellation Policy:
Mass Senior Care must be notified no later than 24 hours prior to the seminar start time for a credit of equal amount to be issued to your Mass Senior Care account. Refunds will not be given and “No Show” attendees will be billed at the full registration fee.
